Hello, my name is Tim French and I live in Lorton. Virginia. I recently read an article in the Washington Post where Mr. Kennard mentioned the idea of allowing individual citizens to broadcast on commercial bands with 1 watt stations. I think this is an EXCELLENT idea! As Mr. Kennard stated, programming and information could be dissimenated down to the neighborhood level. I see nothing but positives from this idea. Please..... do NOT give in to the National Broadcasters Association scare tactics. These 1 watt stations will not clog the airwaves. They are only worried about 'dollars'.  The FCC has an opportunity to push forward a law that actually benefits Americans. So... again... please.... continue forward with this idea and do
not give in to big business radio.
